I'm just having a cup of coffee relaxing as the day unfolds. The weather is wonderful.
The cats are playful. Some people renting across the street seem to have left their cute kitten behind when they moved. I named him Andrew. He was starving, so thin and weak he couldn't make it across the street. I saw him coming toward me, and he just collapsed. I went in the street and brought him into the house. I made him a bowl of warm milk and a dish of cat food. He ate it right up, then was exhausted. He played a few minutes on the cat scratch toy, then fell asleep. I guess he finally felt safe and warm here in my home.
I didn't want to adopt him, he adopted me. I feel that calling the animal shelter to have him taken away would only lead to him losing his life. So sad that this pretty kitten should lose his life because he was left behind. What a cruel thing to do to this kitten. After all, the people adopted him to begin with, then 2 months later leave him behind?
He is a light orange fur color. No patches or other colors on him. He is a teenager now.
I am keeping him outdoors since he tries to eat too much at once and gets sick. I am healing his body and earning his trust. ps. I did not name him after diaryland Andrew. My friend suggested Andy, and I started calling him that and somehow it just changed to Andrew. It seemed more adult since he is growing up into a man cat.
And that is the story of Andrew the boy kitty. I already love him. Sigh.
I have not watched any type of news for two months. I am watching the news this morning and it's very difficult to keep up. I don't remember a time in my life as an adult, when the news was so complicated. Apparently, now is the big issue of abortion.
I don't choose abortion for myself but I sure don't tell other women what to choose.
As far as my life goes, my decision to keep life that is 1/2 my child is my decision.
When others make decisions for adults against their will, it's a crime in our country and it is a violation of The Constitution of The United States of America. Voting to make decisions for others adult when it comes to their personal religion, which is what I believe is the category that abortion falls into, is Unconstitutional. This categorizing of the subject of abortion as "religion" can be shown in the many pro life and abortion right groups are religion church based. They use money from religion to fund their belief to decide for other women. I find that to be Unconstitutional.
