I woke up early from a very intense dream. In the dream, I was calling out the name of my soulmate M.O, crying and looking for him because he had left. I was barefoot.
I ran to the street to see if his car was still there and it hurt my feet to be without shoes. I could feel the pavement and small rocks hurting my feet as I ran.
I saw his car, it was a Karmann Ghia '68 couple, a yellow gold color.
So, I ran into a forest, my bare feet over dried leaves that I could feel crackling as I ran.
I came upon a baby deer calmly nibbling at some grass and leaves. So, I slowed down to keep from scaring the baby deer. I walked back to the street to find the car was gone.
I realized that I did not have a ride home now, so I tried to find my things to catch a ride or bus.
My feet were hurting me. I was upset that I would have to walk home.
I sat on the street crying once I found my things, but I could not find my shoes.
I ran over and found that I had missed a bus. So, I just started running barefoot over all kinds of different textures, crying and calling for M.O. again and again.
I woke up startled with the sound of my mind calling and yelling M.O's name out loud.
Dreaming of being barefoot indicates that you are currently looking for a new ground, to ground yourself in something more reliable.
Leaves are generally thought to be a symbol of growth and openness.
On feet hurting:
If your feet are hurt in a dream, then this means you are currently out of balance in life and you don't know how to get things back on track. The deer symbolizes a connection to the supernatural, the other world or to the fairy realm, e.g., being a messenger or an entity's familiar.
